A traditional Japanese cast iron teapot (tetsubin) in black with delicate gold dragonfly motifs. The teapot features a textured surface, a sturdy handle, and an internal tea infuser. It comes with a matching cast iron warmer stand, designed to hold a candle or other heating element to keep the tea warm. The bottom is marked “Made in Japan”. The teapot measures approximately 4.5 inches tall (excluding handle) and 6 inches in diameter, sitting on a stand that is approximately 2.5 inches tall. Overall height with stand and handle up is approximately 8 inches. The item is in very good condition with minimal wear.
