The silhouette pictures depict 18th to 19th-century style figures in black against a light background, with decorative borders. They are housed in black and gold tone frames. The thermometer advertisement features a scene of a woman churning butter and a man working outdoors, with a visible thermometer on the right side. It is framed in gold tone and has "CHUBBY'S WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATRONAGE AND GOODWILL" and "Dial 77341 Portsmouth, Va." printed on the bottom.
