This land is located 2 ½ miles W. of Ames, then 5/8 mile S. following the blacktop to the northeast corner of the property. It is situated near the Cimarron River in an area well known for its abundant population of Whitetail deer, Rio Grande turkey, quail, and predators. There is adequate timber for wildlife habitat and livestock shelter, and for plenty of privacy for a rural home or weekend family retreat. There is irrigation and municipal water wells in the general area and blacktop access to all of the surrounding communities. According to the Major Co. F.S.A., this property is in an F.S.A. unit, including the entire SE/4.
