This ceramic plate features a central illustration of a child in a bonnet with a dog and a parrot on a perch, surrounded by the phrase 'Baby Bunting & Bunch, when out for a walk, Are greatly surprised to hear a bird talk.' The rim is marked 'BABY'S PLATE' in embossed lettering.
The plate displays significant crazing throughout the glaze and some discoloration on the underside. No visible maker’s marks or date of manufacture are present. Ideal for collectors of nursery ware or early children’s ceramics. See photos for measurements, if taken.
