Item description:

Three distinct decorative collector plates. Two are part of The Hamilton Collection’s ‘The Golden Age of American Railroads’ series: ‘The Pennsylvania K-4’ (dated 1991, plate number 3899D) and ‘The Blue Comet’ (dated 1990, plate number 2353D). Both plates feature vibrant artwork by Ted Xaras, gold-rimmed edges, and come with certificates of authenticity and original packaging, illustrating iconic steam locomotives from American railroad history. The third plate is a sepia-toned transferware piece titled ‘Burns at the Plough,’ produced in England with a backstamp and notable crackle glaze. This plate depicts Scottish poet Robert Burns at a plough. This collection appeals to railroad memorabilia collectors as well as those interested in historical or commemorative English ceramics.
