Painted wood boomerang featuring traditional Aboriginal-inspired motifs, including a stylized kangaroo and geometric patterning in red, white, yellow, and black. Both ends of the boomerang display hand-painted dot and cross designs. The item is stamped "MADE IN AUSTRALIA BY Bill Onus," with an additional pencil marking present.
Some surface wear and edge chipping are visible on both tips. Bill Onus was known for promoting Aboriginal art. See photos for measurements, if taken. Suitable as a display piece or collectible reflecting mid-20th-century Aboriginal art promotion.
