Item description:

American quartersawn oak sideboard (buffet), circa 1900–1915. The bow-front case has three drawers across the top, three cabinet doors below with applied scrolled moldings, and a full-width bottom drawer, all with brass bail pulls and strong tiger-flake figure. The center drawer has a fitted, lined silverware tray. The arched backsplash holds a beveled center mirror flanked by two smaller mirrors with oak fretwork overlays, and it rests on carved acanthus scroll supports. The case stands on molded feet, and the back is stenciled "No. 1732." Four original casters are stored in a drawer. | | Condition: | | Mirrors: Cloudiness and streaking on the center mirror.
