Item description:

‘Raggedy Ann’s Sunny Songs’ J-1, a complete 3-record set produced by Victor Records, under the RCA label, and featuring the iconic Nipper ‘His Master’s Voice’ logo. The records are cataloged as numbers 218, 219, and 220, covering Parts 1 through 6 of Raggedy Ann’s songs and sung by Frank Luther with instrumental accompaniment. Songs include beloved titles such as “My Raggedy Ann,” “The Fairy Ring,” “Mother Ding,” and “Christmas Morn,” with credits to Johnny Gruelle and Will Woodin.

The set comes in its original illustrated paper sleeve, depicting Raggedy Ann and Andy, and includes all three 10-inch shellac 78 RPM records. The sleeve shows age-related wear, and the records display surfaces consistent with use, but all major label text is intact and readable.

This set is significant for collectors of early children’s music, Raggedy Ann memorabilia, and Victor shellac records and reflects the cross-media popularity of Johnny Gruelle’s characters in mid-20th-century American entertainment.
