Item description:

Carl Erickson called the color of this bowl "opel" which is described as "truly opalescent" and cased to produce a moonstone shade.  (Per Paul Qualls, master glass blower for the Erickson Glass Company.)   The bowl is 3.25" high and 11.5" in diameter at the rim.  Pictures will show a tiny black spot toward the middle of the inside with a couple of barely-there "wings" coming from it.  Unknown if this was intentional; however, the bowl would be a lovely way to present florals, fruits, hors d'oeuvres/etc.
