Item description:

Commissioned sugar bowl in grape by Carl Erickson. 8" high and 5" in diameter.    Erickson was asked by the Metropolitan Museum of Art to reproduce this unusual sugar bowl, circa early 20th century, Ohio.  Pictured and described on pages 10 & 11 in "Erickson Freehand Glass," by Ramona & Franklin Knower.  There is no "M" on the bottom to indicate a commissioned piece for the museum.
