Item description:

Cold War era U.S. military style stretcher.  Green canvas and wooden handles measure 90″ long and  20-plus inches wide when fully extended.  The litter was made by Padblock Company of Wichita, KS.  in the 1950’s as part of supplies used by the Federal Civil Defense Administration. It has folding metal feet which serve to keep the patient about 6 inches off the ground.   Pictures will show stitching to repair the stretcher and marker on the canvas; otherwise, it is in good shape for age and use.
