The combination of the arid terrain, prominent cactus forms, vivid blue-green water, and mountainous coastline is suggestive of Baja California or another coastal region of Mexico, although the exact location has not been identified.
Signed “Rosina” in the lower right corner. The artist has not been further identified. Painted on canvas and presented in a simple light-colored wood frame with hanging wire on the reverse.
