Original framed farm scene painting by Betty A. Lamb, depicting a large red barn with surrounding outbuildings, mature trees, green landscape, and a roadway leading toward the barn. The bold red, black, green, and blue palette gives the work a charming folk-art and rural Americana character.
The reverse is handwritten “Painted By: Betty A. Lamb,” dated “July ’68,” and titled “Farm Scene – ‘The Red Barn.’” It is also inscribed “Property of Betty A. Lamb.” The painting is additionally signed in the lower left corner.
Measures approximately 22” x 28” overall including the frame. Presented in a wood-tone frame with narrow gold-tone inner trim.
Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear throughout. Painting shows scattered scratches, marks, surface wear, and other minor imperfections. Frame has noticeable scratches, scuffs, finish wear, nicks, and general cosmetic wear from age and display. Reverse backing shows staining, water spots, punctures/tears, marks, and other age-related wear.
