Reverse: Showcases John Trumbull’s highly intricate engraving of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This patriotic reverse design debuted in 1976 to honor the United States Bicentennial.

Paper Quality: Soft, heavily circulated paper body showing extensive historical pocket use. The note maintains its original borders but shows localized margin dirt transfer and minor age browning.
Folds & Defects: Features multiple deep vertical fold creases and widespread surface wrinkling across the main body. A visible stray red ink mark or ink strand sits in the blank obverse field between the district seal and Jefferson’s portrait. All central serial numbers and seals remain strong and fully legible.
