Visual & Condition Analysis:
Obverse Profile: Anthony de Francisci’s iconic Goddess of Liberty design displays honest wear. Significant flattening is visible on the high points of Liberty’s hair buns, crown tiara, and cheekbone. The date “1924” and motto “IN GOD WE TRVST” remain fully legible.
Reverse Features: The perched eagle overlooking the dawn shows standard circulation flattening on the breast and upper wing feathers. The word “PEACE” at the base is visible but softened from handling.
Toning & Eye Appeal: Surfaces feature a very distinct, deep antique olive-brown patina distributed across both faces. Faint environmental carbon spotting is nested within the reverse lettering and fields, providing a uniquely historic, untouched look.
