An exceptional, matching pair of vintage mid-century traditional brass table lamps manufactured by the historic Tell City Chair Co. of Tell City, Indiana. Known primarily for premium hard-rock maple furniture, the company also produced high-end coordinated lighting accents featuring classic Early American candlestick profiles.

Base Design: Crafted with an elegant, heavy cast-metal baluster or candlestick column silhouette finished in a warm, polished antiqued brass. Features a wide, tiered circular weighted stability base.
Lamp Shades: Includes two (2) coordinating cream-colored fabric shades featuring a distinct multi-panel bell silhouette. The top and bottom rims are elegantly detailed with a braided cream gimp or scroll fabric trim decoration.
Wiring & Hardware: Outfitted with their original brown twin-strand SPT plastic power cords, matching integrated two-prong household plugs, cream-colored faux candlestick socket sleeves, and standard black turn-knob socket switches.
Manufacturer Markings: The underside felt base padding retains the original factory paper label reading: “Pattern 4727 – Finish [Blank] – Tell City Chair Co., Tell City, Indiana – I 9”. Features an additional circular purple Underwriters Laboratories (UL) safety inspection sticker reading “Portable Lamp Issue No. L-321”.
Condition Report
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The brass lamp bases show a lovely, bright luster with only very light, minor surface patina and minimal age-appropriate scuffing. The fabric shades are structurally crisp, clean, and free of stains, puncture holes, or scorching.
Electrical Condition: Wiring is fully intact. Cords remain flexible without dry rotting, splits, or exposed copper filaments. The turn-knob socket switches click cleanly.
