This exceptional estate collection features an authentic 1950s Kodak Duaflex IV twin-lens reflex (TLR) style roll-film camera outfit. The lot comes loaded with its original detachable flash synchronizer, period accessories, and a dedicated leatherette travel case.
Camera Details: The camera body features a classic brown Bakelite and textured faux-leather pebble-grain wrap bound by satin aluminum trim. The front faceplate displays the stylized red script signature “Kodak Duaflex IV Camera”, framing a premium 72mm f/8 Kodar focusing lens with adjustable scene/aperture selectors (“Hazy Sun”, “Bright Sun”, “Brilliant”) and a top-down waist-level brilliant viewfinder with a folding steel hood.
Flash & Accessories:
Kodak Flasholder: A heavy brown Bakelite battery-pack handle assembly mounting a massive, highly polished satin aluminum dish reflector shield.
Vintage Flashbulbs: Includes two clear filament-filled glass photo flashbulbs resting next to an authentic roll of legacy Ansco 125 film sealed in its original foil wrapper.
Kodak Cloud Filter No. 6A: A rare vintage yellow glass contrast lens filter tucked safely inside its original yellow and black cardboard presentation box.

Condition: Excellent vintage collector quality. The camera’s internal mechanical shutter fires crisply, the film advance dial turns smoothly, and the internal tracking paper backing advances perfectly across the rollers. The optics on both lenses and the waist-level viewing glass remain clear and bright. The Bakelite handle has zero structural fractures, the aluminum flash dish maintains a brilliant mirror finish, and the travel bag clasp locks firmly. Faint, age-appropriate storage shelf dust is present on the bag lining.
