Smith & Wesson Victory Model 38 Special produced in 1944. It was part of the allied lend-lease program to Great Britain. This revolver is based on the original Smith & Wesson Military & Police model that was used pre-WW2. These particular pistols were used for security and police work because they were built with a S&W 38 which is smaller and less powerful than the S&W 38 Special cartridge which was used in WW2 action. It appears to be in good mechanical condition. We did not fire this item. Smith & Wesson revolver chambered in .38 S&W Special, with manufacturer markings and patent dates visible on the barrel. Features include a six-shot cylinder, checkered trigger, and wood grips exhibiting handling marks and wear. Serial number 649016 is stamped on the butt and cylinder. Includes a zippered soft case. Must be 21 or older to bid on and pickup this item and must show ID. Please see the photos to help determine the condition and the value for yourself. Sells as is.
