Obverse: Features Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic "Walking Liberty" design. Liberty walks toward a rising sun draped in the American flag, carrying branches of laurel and oak.
Reverse: Features John Mercanti’s classic Heraldic Eagle with shield, holding an olive branch and arrows. This is the original Type 1 reverse design used before the 2021 update.
