Condition Overview
Zebco Centennial Pack Rod: The 6-foot fiberglass breakdown rod is in excellent vintage condition. All four interlocking sections connect firmly together with tight metal ferrule joints. The individual metal line guides and top tip are completely straight and properly wrapped without loose threading. The natural cork composite handles and pistol grip remain structurally sound, displaying light surface scuffs and minor handle darkening typical of field handling. The yellow shaft section retains crisp, legible "Centennial No. 4064 6' Medium Action" factory script lettering.
Zebco 600 Spincast Reel: The closed-face casting reel features its original black composition housing with the embossed "Zebco 600" logo. The mechanical thumb button operates properly and the chrome crank handle turns smoothly, though the internal gearing feels slightly dry and would benefit from routine fresh lubrication. The exterior housing shows only faint hairline surface scuffs.
Heddon Fishing Lure & Line: The vintage Heddon topwater prop bait features a cream body accented by a distinct green head and bright red-ribbed vertical side striping. The body is structurally solid with bright paint, while the front prop spinner and dual treble hooks display minor surface tarnish and light hook oxidation. The clear Berkley Trilene line box remains intact with some light storage hazing and fine scuffs on the plastic lid.
Zebco Protective Travel Case: The original tan vinyl zip-up case is physically complete with a functional sliding zipper track. The vinyl exterior exhibits a naturally aged character, featuring scattered light surface smudges, faint crease folds, and a prominent black printed "Zebco" logo block on the lower corner.
