Item description:

Description: An authentic mid-century utilitarian kitchen mixing bowl or planter bowl produced by the historic Zanesville Stoneware Company as part of their celebrated "Stoneage Modern" or "Homespun" lines. Covered in a warm, glossy mustard-yellow slip glaze, the exterior wall features a classic machine-ribbed vertical design highlighted by a decorative geometric ring structure at the upper shoulder. The deep, smooth interior transitions into a soft tan overglaze towards the base and outer rim.
Dimensions: Measures approximately 6.75 inches in diameter across the top rim and stands 4.25 inches in height.
Markings: The unglazed flat stoneware base is incised with the official factory model designation mark "4405" alongside faint "ZSC" block lettering variants.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The heavy stoneware pottery body remains structurally intact and free of chips, cracks, hairline fractures, or structural repairs. The interior and exterior surfaces display typical factory glaze pops, small air-pocket pits, and original firing irregularities standard for mid-century Ohio industrial art pottery production.
