A vintage Western Electric Model 2554 single-line rotary dial wall telephone finished in high-gloss black plastic. This authentic piece of telecommunications history features a classic clear plastic rotary wheel with white alphanumeric lettering and a standard G-type handset connected via a black coiled modular cord.
The reverse side reveals a sturdy metal wall-mounting chassis plate featuring an integrated RJ11C modular jack connection port. An original paper factory service label remains affixed to the back plate, displaying the registration data: FCC No. DBQ 7GI-11772-TE-R, Ringer Equivalent 1.0B, USOC Jack RJ11C, Single Line Rotary, stamped with a production date of January 25, 1985.
