Description: A classic seven-piece vintage mid-century American hand-painted ceramic beverage service set produced by the Purinton Pottery Company. Crafted from thick, heavy slip-cast yellowware clay, the set features a large beverage pitcher with a contoured pouring spout and an attached C-shaped handle, accompanied by six matching cylindrical juice tumblers. Each piece is decorated in the iconic, hand-painted "Apple and Grapes" pattern, showcasing bold red and yellow apples, dark purple grape clusters, stylized brown pinecones or berries, and green leaves over a warm, speckled cream-buff slip background.

Dimensions: The large beverage pitcher stands approximately 8.25 inches high by 8.5 inches wide from spout tip to outer handle edge. The six matching juice tumblers each stand 4.25 inches high by 2.75 inches in diameter across the top rim opening.

Markings: The flat, unglazed pottery bases are unmarked, which is common for authentic mid-century utility runs from this Ohio foundry. The distinctive hand-painted brushwork style, brush strokes, and thick yellowware body composition directly identify the set as original Purinton Pottery.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The entire seven-piece ceramic assortment is structurally solid and entirely free of cracks, structural chips, or hairline fractures. The interior basins and outer surfaces maintain brilliant gloss levels with clean, bold hand-painted paint pigments. The unglazed bottom foot rings show standard light shelf wear, and original manufacturing blemishes include common micro-pitting spots, minor underglaze clay bumps, and light factory glaze skips that are characteristic of this folk-art pottery style.
