Condition Overview
Lush Brand Fruit Crate: The slatted wooden crate is structurally sound with tight corner joints. The front face features a bright, well-preserved green, red, and yellow paper label that remains highly legible with minimal edge scuffing, minor tearing, and standard aging. The unpainted side and back planks are intact, showing a light layer of storage dust.
Blue Goose Crate & Basket Pair: The second wooden crate is sturdy but shows heavier weathering, including a partially missing and stained paper logo on the front face and faint factory stenciling on the back panel. The two woven stave bushel baskets exhibit moderate wear consistent with farm use. The basket with the plain wood band shows multiple cracked, split, and broken staves on the bottom undercarriage, including a pronounced breakthrough hole near the center. The basket with the red-painted bottom band is structurally stable, displaying minor surface staining, internal wood splintering, and general shelf friction wear. Both pairs of wire loop handles are intact with variable surface rust.
