Description
A massive eclectic assortment of vintage 20th-century advertising items, hardware tools, and primitive utility ephemera. The featured electrical item is an original Ideal Electric Marker (No. 11-101) manufactured by Ideal Industries, Inc. of Sycamore, Illinois. It features a molded brown Bakelite body with an adjustable yellow plastic nose cone, a fine engraving tip, and its original attached two-prong power cord.
The lot highlights an extensive collection of vintage metal bottle openers. Included is a cream-painted, heavy wall-mount bottle opener embossed "OPEN BOTTLE HERE", alongside stamped steel flat can piercers from iconic makers. Notably, the flat openers include advertising specimens from G.G. Greene (The Burger Brewing Co., Cincinnati, O.), Ekco (Blatz – Milwaukee's Favorite Premium Beer and Pfeiffer's Beer), and Vaughan (Ballantine ale & beer).
Additional vintage utility artifacts include an antique brass star-shaped luggage or locker token stamped with the digits "84", a group of three iron skeleton keys on a split ring, a miniature novelty combination claw hammer and multi-sleeve screwdriver tool, two slim chrome pocket penlights, pairs of steel utility scissors, and a primitive wire hook tool stamped for Lazarus.

Condition Report
Ideal Electric Marker: The brown Bakelite body is structurally intact without cracks or impact fractures. The factory sticker is well-preserved and entirely legible. The rubber power cord is flexible but shows typical surface age, and the tool is sold as untested.
Advertising & Wall Openers: The metal pieces show varying degrees of heavy, honest age. The cream wall opener displays considerable paint loss and oxidation around the mounting screw channels. The flat steel openers display widespread surface tarnish, scattered dark brown rust spots, and moderate scratching over the stamped brewer graphics.
Hardware & Ephemera: The brass star token has a beautiful, authentic dark gold patina with clear stamped numbering. The accompanying keys show heavy surface rust. The miniature combination hammer has rust across the steel claw head. The pocket lights and scissors function mechanically but display moderate superficial pitting and shelf tarnish.
