This vintage mid-century electric desk fan was manufactured in the United States by General Electric (GE). A classic piece of industrial design, it features a heavy cast metal streamlined housing and base finished in its original sage green paint. The fan is equipped with three wide aluminum blades, an oscillating motor mechanism, a rear-mounted toggle speed switch, a matching protective wire cage, and a striking red-and-gold center GE emblem.

Condition Overview
General Electric Desk Fan: The fan is in solid, intact vintage condition and has been tested as working. The three aluminum blades are properly aligned inside the wire cage and spin smoothly. The sage green painted finish displays typical signs of age and wear, including light surface scuffs, small paint nicks along the base edge, and localized edge wear on the rear motor casing. The central red GE logo badge is well-preserved with bright coloring.
Mechanical Housing and Wiring: The rear speed toggle switch is firmly in place, though the upper motor casing features an open circular port on top where a component plug or lubrication port cover is missing. The attached gray rubberized two-prong power cord is physically intact without visible cracks or exposed wires, but due to its vintage age, rewiring is recommended for extended everyday safety.
