Condition Overview
Body and Glaze: The pitcher is structurally sound with no large structural hairline cracks or deep fractures throughout the body or the main basin. The vibrant cobalt blue glaze remains glossy and reflective, showing small pinholes, light glaze skips, and manufacturing kiln marks on the bottom rim that are standard for 1930s California pottery.
Rim, Spout, and Handle: The triangular pouring spout and angular handle are firmly intact. A close inspection shows minor wear along the top lip, including a few small fleabites or shallow glaze chips on the edge of the rim and spout tip. Faint shelf scuffing and minor usage residue are present along the unglazed resting foot on the underside of the base
