Item description:

Description: An antique five-piece wooden furniture salvage lot sourced from a late 19th or early 20th-century treadle sewing machine cabinet base. Crafted from solid walnut and poplar timbers, the lot features four deep, narrow side drawers with simple finger-joint or pinned construction. Accompanying the drawers is a matching center drop-front needle or bobbin accessories tray box detailed with a molded stepped frame and a pre-drilled brass feed tube.

Dimensions: Each of the four matching side drawers measures approximately 14.25 inches long by 4.75 inches wide and stands 4.25 inches high. The center drop tray measures 12.5 inches in total width by 5.25 inches deep.

Markings: No remaining manufacturer metal badges or stenciled brand marks are visible on the raw wood panels. The structural silhouettes and molded center tray profile directly align with traditional cabinet designs produced by sewing machine manufacturers from this era, such as Singer, White, or Domestic.

Condition: Heavily distressed antique salvage condition. The wooden frameworks across all five components are structurally intact and squared with stable wall panels. The dark-finished drawer fronts show advanced weathering, finish loss, scuffs, and deep handling edge wear. Two drawers retain their original turned wooden pull knobs (one featuring an ornate stamped brass backing plate), while the remaining two companion drawers are missing their front pull hardware entirely, leaving behind raw attachment holes. The center box features integrated tool holes on its inner lip edge and minor wood splintering on the back trim.
