The piece features a vented dome cap, curved scrollwork legs on a molded base unit, an ornate separate floor skirt plate with floral relief motifs, and a highly decorative removable finial top piece. Opening the main door reveals a selection of original internal shaker grates and operational hardware pieces.
Dimensions: Stands approximately 42 inches tall to the top of the dome cap (excluding the decorative finial extension).
Condition Report: Offered in as-found, uncleaned estate condition, ideal for a full historical restoration or use as a rustic accent piece. The heavy cast iron frame retains sound structural integrity without visible cracks or structural fractures. The entire exterior surface displays a heavy, uniform coating of cosmetic dust, storage residue, and light surface oxidation. The main doors, hinges, and draft wheels move freely. Internal grates are uncleaned but present; the side mica windows or cylinder panels show typical discoloration and wear from previous active use.
