The artwork is signed “Warner Sallman 1940” along the lower left and is marked “Copyright 1941 Kriebel & Bates, Litho. in U.S.A.” along the lower right. The original color image was produced through a six-color lithographic process, which helped create the distinctive luminous appearance associated with Sallman’s work.
This example is presented in a vintage gold-tone decorative wood frame with a raised ornamental border. The back retains the original-style paper backing and hanging wire, with a V-M Co. marking visible.
Approximate overall dimensions: 23” x 18”
Condition: Vintage/used condition. The print shows age-related wear, including some surface marks and imperfections visible in the photographs. The frame also shows appropriate age, wear, scuffs, and finish loss. The backing has wear and dents from age/storage. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the description.
