A collection of five limited edition satin finish glass ball Christmas ornaments from the 2001 “Treasured Scenes” series by K.S.I. The ornaments commemorate the historic schools that formed the Central Local School District in Defiance County, Ohio, in 1958. Included are ornaments representing the Farmer School (1909-2002), Mark Center School (1922-1990), Sherwood School (1911-2002), and Ney School (1908-1976). Each ornament features a transfer print illustration of the respective schoolhouse on the front, with commemorative text regarding the 1958 school district formation on the reverse.
