Robert Taylor limited-edition aviation print titled “Sting of the Black Tulip,” numbered 683/850 from the original limited edition.
This highly collectible work depicts legendary German fighter ace Erich Hartmann flying his Messerschmitt Bf 109G over the Eastern Front in August 1943. Hartmann became the highest-scoring fighter ace in aviation history with 352 credited aerial victories. “Sting of the Black Tulip” was released in 1997 as the first print in Robert Taylor’s celebrated Hartmann Trilogy.
