Whiskey-One-Yankee-Golf (W1YG), also known as Frank Parker Heinemann, was a passionate HAM & an avid collector & user of Collins Radios. He got into HAM radios as a boy scout in the 1930’s. After retirement around 1990 from the machining business he founded & operated in Old Saybrook, CT. He spent many years driving around the country collecting radios & radio parts. At home in Lyme, CT, he rebuilt & tested the radios offered in this auction & participated in numerous CQ contests.
