Hi, my name is Oliver Delaurier and this is my first year in 4-H Beef. My steer’s name is Billy Bob, and he was born on April 6, 2025.
Billy Bob has been really good to work with, and I’ve enjoyed getting to know him. I spend lots of time with him feeding, brushing, and leading him so he gets used to me. It’s been pretty cool seeing how much he’s grown already.
This year I’ve been learning how to take care of my steer and do things the right way. My goal is to bring a really nice, well-finished steer to the sale and be proud of how far we’ve come.
My favourite part of 4-H is being at the barn and spending time with family and cousins. When I’m not there, I love going fishing and being outside.
