Hi everyone, my name is Aspen Delaurier and this is my second year in 4-H Beef.
Last year I showed my heifer May, and this year I’m showing her as a continuation heifer along with her calf, Brownie. It’s been really special getting to keep working with her and see that progress carry into this year.
My steer this year is Louis, and he was born on April 4, 2025. I’ve been feeding him Full Throttle and barley, and spending lots of time brushing and working with him so he’s comfortable and ready for show day. I’ve learned a lot already and feel more confident going into my second year.
My goal this year is to keep improving and bring a strong, well-finished steer to the sale. I’m excited to see how everything turns out.
Outside of 4-H, I love being active and adventurous. I enjoy surfing, wakeboarding, riding horses, and just being outdoors as much as I can.
