The sire, “Doc”, is a producer of 1D barrel horses and is a grandson of two AQHA legends. First, SUN FROST, who needs no introduction in todays industry. Second is Genuine 007, Son of Genuine Doc, who was a World Champion Jr Head horse and AQHA performance Champion with 3 Superiors. He won a record 6 World championships at the 2004 Palomino World show as well as the High Point All Around. Prior to that, in 2003 at the NRHA reining futurity, he sold for $150,000.00 US and ended his career with over 500 AQHA points.
The dam, DCF Oh So Peppy, is another homegrown mare sired by Hickorys Silver King who is a 1D producing barrel sire, futurity champions, and sire of money earners of head, heel, calf roping and breakaway horses, as well as cutters, reined cow horses and reiners. According to AQHA he is the last son left producing by the 1986 NCHA Futurity champion ROYAL SILVER KING, who produced over $500,000.00 in NCHA offspring earnings, more then 515 AQHA points, Superiors in Performance, ROMs in Performance, multitudes of NRHA money earners, and Halter point earners. His Dam, Solanos Hickory Rio, was also an AQHA point earner.
