She is correct, well built and will handle a full day’s work. She’s classy and has all the potential to go to work in the arena.
The sire, “Whiskey”, was only shown on one occasion. He won the Ranch horse Classic 2021 AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse and was the All Breed Champion. Whiskey stands 15hh and has been used in the branding pens and to cut and sort cattle. He is sired by Eds Little Whiskey and is the grandson of Paddy’s Irish Whiskey and Caught Me Lookin, who is the highest money earning Canadian stallion in cutting horse history.
The dam, SQ Skip A Sock, carries the Sim Qua Ranch P- brand and was purchased by our middle son, Kade, from Wayne and Liz Plett a few years ago. She is sired by SQ Docs Playfull, stands 15.1 HH and is sired by NCHA money earner Doc Remedys Playboy. Sweet Snow Creek has produced multiple ranch horses and rodeo competition horses as well as high school rodeo horses of the year and MHSRA AQHA horse of the year titles. Farther down the pedigree we have Quincy Blue Socks, sire of multiple Manitoba 50/50 champions and money earners, AQHA performers, Halter point earners, Barrel racing and Pole bending horses, and countless ranch and rope horses.
