The FB Radom VIS P35 pistol is a highly regarded 9x19mm Polish semi-automatic handgun, designed in the 1930s and manufactured by Fabryka Broni in Radom, known for its elegant design, inspired partly by the Colt 1911, featuring a grip safety, decocker, and disassembly lever, serving Polish forces before WWII and later under German occupation, with production continuing until 1945, making it a sought-after collector’s item. Designed by Piotr Wilniewczyc and Jan Skrzypinski. This example has “All Matching Serial Numbers” on the frame, slide, and barrel with German Waffenamt eagle over WaA77 that specifically identifies the Fabyka Broni Arms factory in Radom Poland which was captured and produced weapons for Germany during WWII. Because of the Waffenamt we know that this pistol was manufactured between 1940 – 1943. Produced was the Type I, Type II, and Type III. This one appears to be a Type II with not stock cut out on the back bottom strap. The blued finish is still in great shape with some spotty areas on the slide.
