The Swiss K11 (officially known as the Karabiner Model 1911 is a historic, straight-pull bolt-action service rifle adopted by Switzerland in 1911. Produced by Waffenfabrik Bern. It is a shortened carbine variant of the full length Model 1911 infantry rifle. It remains highly prized by military surplus collectors for its exceptional mechanical precision, build quality, and incredibly smooth straight pull action. This design permits a significantly faster rate of fire than traditional bolt action rifles. The safety mechanism features a highly distinct, large ring-shaped cocking piece at the rear of the bolt. To engage the safety, the user pulls the ring back and twists it to the side, locking the firing pin safely into a recess where it cannot strike a primer. It has a 6rnd detachable magazine, full length wood stock with a steel buttplate, adjustable front and tangent rear sights graduated from 300-1,500 meters and a muzzle protector. This is a military surplus rifle so it has the typical scratches, bumps, and dings, along with some finish wear. Includes a military leather sling. Please see photos.
