Manufactured in 1944 as per serial number on the receiver, but the barrel is marked with a Crown over VAR and date stamped 8-60. This rifle was rebarreled as a lend lease gun given to Denmark and re-arsenaled in around 1960. It was brought back along with others home to the U.S. There are no other Danish or U.S. markings on the rifle or the stock. Most of the original finish is gone and there are some scratches and dings on the stock. Includes a leather 1907 sling. Please see photos. C&R
