Manufactured in the 1870s, This Remington Rolling Block in .41 Cal Spanish is a historic, single-shot breechloader originally manufactured for the Spanish Colonial Army and Cuban Volunteers during the late 19th century. These rifles are highly prized among antique collectors due to their specific military proof marks and obsolete caliber status. Used by the Ejercito Ultramar (Spanish Colonial Overseas Army) and Cuban Volunteer Regiments during conflicts like the Ten Years’ War and the Spanish-American War. It is in its original patina, it has a 2 piece stock with long forend and a shorter straight stock with a steel buttplate, and sling loops. It has a fixed front and tangent rear sight system.
