Collector� WINFIELD SPORTERIZED CRANSTON M1941 JOHNSON RIFLE | Winfield Arms Sporterized US Cranston Arms contract Johnson Automatics Model 1941 .30-06 caliber semi automatic rifle. Receiver stamped Cal .30-06 Semi-Auto – “Johnson Automatics” – Model of 1941 – Made in Providence RI USA. Cranston Arms Co. triangle logo stamped on right side of receiver. Beautiful deep polished blued finish, adjustable rear sight and front blade sight with hood, walnut Monte Carlo stock with rubber recoil pad and sling mounts, a 10 rnd internal rotary magazine, cheese grader top heat shield, and a reciprocating barrel that cuts felt recoil. Many WW II surplus military rifles were converted for sporting use in the 1950s and �60s. Among these was the now highly sought 1941 Johnson automatic. Winfield Arms Corporation offered three levels of sporterized Johnsons. The one offered here is the Custom Sporter Deluxe Model. It really is a stunning rifle!!! There are some scratches on the wood.
