�Collector� This Browning (FN) Hi-Power was manufactured between 1935 and early 1940 based on historical production serial number records look up. The key details for a Hi-Power in this serial range This is a true pre-WWII (pre- Belgian-occupation) pistol manufactured at the Fabrique Nationale (FN) plant in Herstal, Belgium. Serial numbers reached approximately 42000 by the time the Nazi occupation began in May 1940. This is Serial number 32252. Pre-war and early post-war models (until roughly 1962) feature an internal extractor rather than the later external version. Belgian Proof Marks like “PV” (Poudre Vive) smokeless powder proof and various inspector marks, such as a letter under an asterisk. Many pre-war commercial and military contract Hi-Powers in this date range featured adjustable tangent rear sights marked from 50-500 meters and sometimes paired with a shoulder stock slot on the backstrap like this example has. It is in its original patina with definite signs of use from over the years. It retained most of its blued finish with pitting on the frame, slide, and barrel exteriors. The bore has some very light pitting but has good clean rifling. Includes 2 – 13rnd magazines and a brown correct leather flap holster. Please see photos.
