Fabrica de Armas La Coruna FR8, dated 1951 on the receiver. The FR8 is based on the Mauser System 98 bolt action rifle, and was adopted by Spain at the start of the 1950s. Matching numbers on bolt and receiver. Import mark CAI on the barrel. The metal parts have retained virtually all of their finish. It appears the gun was re-parkerized. Excellent wood stock with just a few small scratches and dings. Has peep sight in the rear and hooded front sight up front, and flash hider. Includes an OD n canvas sling. Please see photos.
