The Ruger Mark I with a 5.5-inch bull barrel in black finish is a vintage, highly collectible .22 LR pistol that was manufactured until 1982. The 5.5-inch heavy (bull) barrel version was introduced in 1963 and became a very popular length for Ruger Target models. The heavy barrel helps minimize recoil and prevent overheating. Blued finish on a steel receiver, “Micro” adjustable rear sight for windage and elevation, and a front sight blade that was often undercut to reduce glare, improving accuracy, checkered black plastic or hard rubber grips, 1 – 10 rnd magazine. Shows signs of use, has some finish loss and some pitting on barrel exterior. Please see photos.
