Model 60 is a classic and highly popular semi-automatic .22 caliber rimfire rifle renowned for its out-of-the-box accuracy, reliability, and affordability. Production of the rifle ceased in 2020 when Marlin was acquired by Sturm, Ruger & Co., which currently has no plans to resume manufacturing the Model 60. The Marlin Model 60 is famous for its use of proprietary Micro-Groove rifling, which enhances accuracy by minimally deforming the bullet as it travels down the barrel. It is optimized for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge only. This example shows signs of use with some scratches and scuffs on the stock along with quite a bit of surface rust and loss of finish on the barrel. Please see photos.
