Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken (DWM) Artillery Luger and MARS Berlin stamped leather holster, both produced in 1915. All matching number pistol with proof marks, the bore is very nice but there is light pitting just before the muzzle, it retains its original finish with some pitting on and around the barrel exterior, left side of frame above the grip, left far rear of the frame by the safety, and on both sides of the trigger, there is some finish wear on the front grip strap, safety leaver, and muzzle. The numbers on the adjustable rear sight are clearly marked, the checkered wood grips appear intact, magazine is not serialized to this pistol, and there are holes in the rear of the holster. There is a small hand inscribed metal tag stating that this pistol was picked up in WWI at the Battle of the Argonne (Meuse-Argonne) by Lt. George B. Ferrel 124th Field Artillery. Please see photos.
