The Remington 788 in .308 Win is a highly regarded, budget-friendly bolt-action rifle, often called a “budget tackdriver” for its superior accuracy, driven by a stiff action and 60-degree bolt lift. Introduced in 1967 and discontinued in 1983, early models like this often featured walnut stocks before moving to hardwood. Key features include a 9 lug rear-locking bolt and a 3-rnd detachable magazine (included). It also has a Tasco 3-9×32 scope with a duplex reticle and 1� rings.
