The Arisaka Type 99 is a Japanese bolt-action service rifle used during World War II (1939�1945), chambered in 7.7x58mm. Designed by Colonel Nariakira Arisaka, it served as the standard rifle of the Imperial Japanese Army, featuring a, chrome-lined barrel, Mauser-style action, and, in early models, a monopod and anti-aircraft sights. There is no Mum on the receiver because it was ground out in disgrace when when Japan surrendered in WWII to the U.S. Included is a leathern sling. There are scratches, bumps, and dings but it maintains intact bipod, dust cover, and sights. A true battlefield pickup. Please see photos. C&R
