The Schrade Walden MC-1 is a vintage 1960s automatic switchblade (parachutist/survival knife) with a bright orange handle, developed for the U.S. Air Force for emergency shroud line cutting. It features a push-button mechanism, a 3.25-inch blade, and a separate, non-automatic hook blade. Original models are highly collectible and often feature “SCHRADE-WALDEN” tang stamps.
